I have to say goodbye to my 2nd Nikon this month...
It's dead unfortunately, after hospitalised for 3 weeks ^_^
What happen is that I pass my camera to my niece so that she don;t disturb me for some important matter. But I forgot to teach her to put her hand over the wrist stripe. And I think you can guess what happen then.... (she dropped it).
I sent to Nikon center and there's no warranty because it's user problem. They called me ans told me it will cost RM480 to replace the faulty part. Oh no...
I just bought this camera in January 2008 for RM800.
Forgot about it... will look for another camera much later when I have the money and the mood to go for shopping...
Just a bit of history ... my 1st Nikon also died because of "carelessness"... Water went into my canoe while I was soooooo panic trying to canoe back to the group ( i was alone and went too far at that time).
Well, let's wait until I feel the pain and the need of having a camera...

I bought a phone yesterday that cost 5400 peso, and today I bought a lugguage that cost 3200peso.
I had no plan to buy anything today, just went to the mall to take my dinner and since I pass by the lugguage department, I JUST drop by to take a look....
They were about to close when I was there, but then.... still I become their last customer before close shop ... how lucky are they ... how dangerous am I

I have just got myself another new toy in Philippine, but the toy is made in China :)
It's a dual sim, dual active, TV phone.... too bad, my camera is spoil, I cannot take any picture and upload it here... will do it later...
Heheh ... wandering what happen to my the other phone "pinkie" ?? I gave it away. Even though I can sell it at Rm100, but then it's not a good price... I rather gave it away.... (hope it's a blessing to you, Rmon, besides the color , hahhah)
Well... I have to learn how to use my new phone. The manual is in English, but it's translated from Chinese and , you know.... I cannot understand it.

World without Internet

I couldn't imagine, I couldn't imagine. How would the world be without internet?
Arrghhhhh. I was tortured for 1 week in Cebu,Philippine searching for internet connection.
1st incident happen when the internet cafe I used to go experience a sloooooooow connection. I do mean slow here. 30 minutes and I could only read 1 email. OK, take note, I was just READING, not even manage to reply.
2nd incident is even better... this small internet cafe run by a middle age woman without IT knowledge. Firstly, she doesn't allow me to use my laptop, I wonder what's the big deal, just plug out a Lan cable. ... :( she was afraid once I plug out and cable, her computer cannot work anymore... oh goshhh
And then, there's only 1 small energy saving bulb in the middle of the room 20feetx20 feet. She doesn;t allow me to use the PC right underneath the bulb, but put me to a corner. I can't even see my finger!!! Then the 15" CRT monitor is like just 1 inch near the graveyard, I have to put my face just 6 inches from the screen.....
Lousy!! Lousy!!!
I have never had this lousy expereince before.... well... another 30 minutes that I can send out 1 email to inform my representative in Manila that I'llbe flying in. how "GREAT"...
I gave up on those internet cafe and decided to get a prepaid dialup. Haahah ... suddenly, the 56K dial up connection is so important ... even though it's slow, it works!!!!
Thank God that dial up connection has not been phased out yet...
And fianlly, I'm in Manila and I'm connected again .... YEAH!!!!

Just so happen, I notice this is my #500 post since I started to blog back to year 2004... Well 500 post for 4 years, hmmm.... not good enough.
Mainly because sometimes too busy and sometimes, my life is so boring that I have nothing to talk about.
Today is mothers' day and we had a small gathering and eating out together. Slight different this year as we are quite creative again with our way of showing love to our parents :)
I bought a gold pedant for my mum from Dubai.. though it's just 5 gram (paiseh/malu/shame), but that cost me RM500++. Another thing is, I booked my mum an ait ticket to Langkawi in November. It has been so long since we travel together as a family.. hm... let me think... it was 2,3 years ago.. Just hope she will enjoy the trip this year end .. a lot of plannig to be done so that things will be well planned.
My youngest brother contributed a box of bird nest (8 pieces) for everyone in the family. Not too bad ya ^_^ hehhe..
2nd brother paid for dinner...
Eldest brother not at home, so .. not sure what he will do ...
It's late night now... I'm feeling very tired but at the same time very talkative. I have this problem that I have to be careful... I'm very talkative at night and will reveal a lot of secrets :) hhahaha ... so I better go to bed now..

Talking about investment...

Suddenly have this prompting in me to start investing in something. Unit trust is something I wanted to get to know long time ago, but have been ignoring it all the while...
Finally... on a hectic public holiday(labour day), I bump into this public mutual agent in a shopping center and start talking about it.... and guess what , hahah.. I'm starting my 1st investment after tomorrow.
Besides that I suddenly feel the need to share with all my friends and bring this awareness to them. Don't be afraid :) I'm not an agent .. but might be ... one day ...
