Year 2008 Resolution

1 week already passed for year 2008 and I have not prepared myself for this year ... Every year, I will do a personal review/evaluation during year end and start thinking about new resolution for the coming year. However, year 2008 seems very different.... very eventful since the month December, lots of challenges in January.

I'll be travelling to China next week, may be I should take some time to think about life :) hahahah .... such a serious topic.

What would you wish for?

I had a early birthday celebration with a few close friends on 31st Dec 2007. It's another significant day of course , New Year Eve.

Before we cut the cake (we= the birthday girls, 2 of us were born on the same day), the host asked us to make a wish.... I just look at her for a moment... She then realises it and answer "You can make 3 wished if you want to..." (thinking that 1 wish is too little for greedy people like me. hahahah )

However it's strange that I have nothing to wish for. Nothing??? Are you kidding???
I keep asking myself, what should I wish for?
A prosperous year? Money doesn't mean a lot to me... I just need enough to live
A good career? Who knows what is "good" enough
A life partner? He will know what is the correct time, I have no say

I do not wish to delay the cake cutting time and at the end, I didn't make any wish. It's not because I'm living a superb happy life and I lack nothing.... but because I have nothing to wish for. May be it is also good, there's no expection when we have nothing to wish for; and there will be no disappointment when we haev no wish...
