After a short while(2-3 months) of not having my driving license . ie LOST .... I finally decided to get a replacement. It was such a diffficult task for me to go to government office to do anything. Just the thought of having to wait at least for half a day put me off to do anything at the government department.

However, I was actually quite worry for driving without a driving license, although theoritically I have it becasue it's still valid but physically I don't ahve it....

Heheh ... Anyway, decided to do it today in Malacca.

I was REALLY REALLY impressed by their efficieny. It took me less than 5 mins to get a replacement driving license. Waoh ...

How good it is if all the government department work like this...

Hope this will come true 1 day.

It has not been an easy week for me as I have to travel for woek and have some serious family issue to settle. I do mean serious matters.....

I consider today as the last day of the week, yet i haev a stressful day until 4pm. Thought of unwinding a bit and have a break before I go back to working mode again.... Something happen in the evening that worth blogging

We have a guest from Philippine, so we went for dinner and trying to put him to a hotel before I drive back to KL from Malacca.

In Hotel .....

I told the receptionist (Mr Azrul) that my guest is from Philippine and would like to have 2 night stay.
Azrul: It's RM138 per night. Can I have your IC?
Pinky: Passport? he is from philippine
Azrul: Do you have a handphone number?
Guest: Err..
Pinky: It's a philippine number, he doesn't have a local number
Azrul: Do you have a Singapore number?
**?????? A philippino having a Singapore Mobile number?

Azrul: Do you want to pay by card or cash?
Guest: Cash
Azrul: OK. you need to pay a RM400 deposit.
Pinky: Huh? Rm400. DO you accept USD? What is your exchange rate?
Azrul: We don't accept USD but you can use that as deposit.
Pinky: OK, I will give you deposit in USD and when my guest check out, he will pay you RM. He doesn't have RM now, he will change tomorrow.
(and I handed over 100USD)
Azrul: OK, you need to give me 400 USD
Pinky: Huh? 400 USD? 100 USD is already RM300+, why do you need 400 USD?
Azrul: This is out policy.
Pinky: I want to see your manager.
Azrul: Manager went home already
Pinky: How about your supervisor?
Azrul: Not here also.
Pinky: Your manager is not here and your supervisor also not here, so are you the boss now?
Azrul: Yes
**?????? Hahahah ... i was shock with my colleague because I didn't expect he will ever answer "YES" .. Speechless for a few second

Pinky: I'm giving you 100 USD and that worth Rm300+. MY 2 night stay here is only Rm276. I sthat enough?
Azrul: I don't know how much is this worth.
Pinky: My goodness.. you don't know 100 USD is Rm300+?
Azrul: Yes, I don't know.
**?????? Oh my goodness... you working at the hotel reception adn you doesn't know about USD?

Pinky: Is this a very new hotel?
Azrul: 1 year plus already
Pinky: How long have you been working here?
Azrul: Half a month.
**?????? half a month?? hahahah
